NAI Hanson Named Exclusive Sales Agent For Church In Hackensack, N.J.

- Cohen and Trovati market church with school capacity in Bergen County-

HACKENSACK, N.J, MARCH 16, 2010 -NAI James E. Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, has been named the exclusive sales agent for an 20,500-square-foot church property in Hackensack, N.J. Peter A. Cohen, director of NAI Hanson's Government Services Group, and Susan G. Trovati, sales associate, will be handling the marketing efforts for the sale of the property.

"In today's Bergen County commercial real estate market, it is extremely difficult to build religious facilities due to the zoning requirements: making it impossible to assemble sites cost effectively to provide ample parking" stated Cohen. "This functional and tax-free facility offers a variety of operational possibilities for potential organizations that need presence in Bergen County."

This fully operating church is an 18,000-square-foot building with a 300-seat sanctuary, a basement, eight classrooms, five bathrooms and, on the second floor, an executive office suite with a private bathroom.  An additional 2,000-square-foot freestanding building in the rear is handicap accessible and has 3 classrooms and an office. The property is well suited to weddings, showers, classes and day care. The property sits on half an acre in the populous Bergen County city, offering easy access to Routes 4 and 17 and Interstate 80. Amenities include on-site parking, as well as municipal parking across the street, central air conditioning, a loading dock, one regular and one freight elevator and meeting space.

"The church is located in the heart of Hackensack, which, despite the recent economic downturn, happens to be a thriving business sector in Bergen County, so this would be a wise purchase for an growing religious organization" added Trovati. "Peter and I are using specific marketing strategies to ensure that we target the appropriate prospective buyers, and we are confident that we will place the ideal purchaser into this exceptional property."
