HACKENSACK, N.J, JULY 23 2010 -Michael Walters, SIOR, executive managing director of NAI James E. Hanson, was sworn in as a member of the Allendale Planning Board for a two-year term earlier this year. "I have known Michael for five years and am very enthusiastic with his 29 years of real estate experience and for him to make a significant, positive contribution to the planning board and their efforts to revisit their current master plan," commented Allendale Mayor Vince Barra. Planning board members are volunteers appointed by the mayor and the town's council. Each member is charged with overseeing all property developments and transactions in the borough, including applications for site-plan approval and revisions to the Borough Zoning Ordinance. The board includes a chairperson, nine members and two alternate members and meets bimonthly. Walters joined NAI James E.
