Commercial real estate for Northern New Jersey in the 2nd quarter of 2010 overall improved slightly versus the 1st quarter with a total net absorption (for Industrial, Retail & Office) of 3.4 million versus a negative 2.3 million. Net absorption was up for Industrial/Flex, Retail and Office A. Average asking rates were down versus 2009 in all sectors except sublease rates for retail, which were up 29.3% and averaged $24.68 versus $21.81 in 2009. For more information, click here.
