Teterboro, N.J. (May 6, 2021) – NAI James E. Hanson announces the appointment of two new Vice Presidents with the promotions of Patrick Lennon and Christopher Todd.
Joining NAI James E. Hanson in 2013, Todd and Lennon have quickly established themselves as leaders in the highly competitive northern New Jersey commercial real estate brokerage community and valued team members at the Teterboro-based real estate firm. Through their tireless focus on professional development and deep involvement in complex sale and lease transactions across the region, Lennon and Todd have each gained a deep understanding of the real estate transaction process and their local submarkets that they leverage in their work each day.
Working on a team with Scott K. Perkins, SIOR, CCIM, Senior Vice President, Todd has had an opportunity to partner with one of the nation’s most respected and knowledgeable industrial brokers. This experience has allowed Todd to help negotiate 70 industrial sales and leases spanning 2.8-million square feet and $273 million in value since joining NAI James E. Hanson. Todd’s ability to close deals in any market conditions was exemplified by one of the largest deals of his career – a sale-leaseback of 66-96 East Union Street in East Rutherford for $24,500,000 – that was negotiated at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
“It is not easy to earn the trust of the most prominent developers, investors, and tenants in our hyper-competitive market,” said Perkins. “However, through his hard work and focus on client service, Chris has not only gained their trust but has become a sought-after commercial real estate expert. I am proud of all that Chris has already accomplished in his career and congratulate him on this much-deserved promotion.”
Over the course of his career with NAI James E. Hanson, Lennon, working on a team with Kenneth Lundberg, SIOR, Senior Vice President and Lorenzo Lambiase, Associate, has helped to negotiate 145 industrial sales and leases totaling 3.2-million square feet and valued at $236 million. In 2020 alone, Lennon helped to close 30 sales and leases spanning 600,000 square feet and 95.45 acres with a combined value of $73.5 million.
Lundberg added, “From my first day working with Patrick, it was clear that he had the vision, creativity and relentlessness that are necessary to succeed in this industry. Since that time, his body of work has only reinforced my confidence in his future as a key contributor to both our firm and the broader commercial real estate industry. I applaud him on this next step in his career and look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role.”
Lennon holds a B.S. in Public Relations from James Madison University and received a Real Estate Certification from the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University. Todd earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Manhattan College.
