Roseland, N.J. – NAI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, negotiated a 4,973-square-foot office lease at 5 Becker Farm Road in Roseland, New Jersey. Senior Vice President Andrew Somple, SIOR, and Associate Jessica Curry, CCIM, represented the tenant, the National Council of Jewish Women, Essex County Section (NCJW/Essex), in the transaction with the landlord, Sixpad Realty, LLC.

Founded in 1912, NCJW/Essex is a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for women, children and families. Relocating its headquarters from Livingston, New Jersey, the organization spearheads several community-focused initiatives, including:

  • The NCJW/Essex Back 2 School Store, which provides thousands of Essex County children with school supplies, personal care items, clothes, books, and more.
  • The Linda and Rudy Slucker NCJW/Essex Center for Women, which offers counseling and other support services for women entering or re-entering the workforce.
  • Advocacy programs focused on critical issues such as reproductive rights, voting rights, gun violence prevention, and more.

“NCJW/Essex is a vital organization that has been empowering women, children and families in our community for more than a century,” said Curry. “We were proud to help them secure a space to support their ability to continue delivering vital programs and services for those in need.”
