Scope of Responsibilities
Brian Godau serves as Vice President at NAI James E. Hanson, bringing more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience across brokerage, corporate real estate management, and development advisory services. He advises owners, occupiers, and institutional clients on complex real estate matters, combining financial expertise with deep market insight to help clients make informed, value-driven decisions.

Prior to joining NAI James E. Hanson, Brian spent 25 years with CBRE, where he held the position of First Vice President. During his tenure, he was actively involved in a broad range of assignments including property disposition strategies, real estate development initiatives, and complex commercial real estate transactions across Northern New Jersey and the surrounding markets. His depth of experience enables him to guide clients through strategic decision-making processes with a focus on maximizing asset value and long-term positioning.

Earlier in his career, Brian served as a Real Estate Manager for State Farm Insurance, where he managed corporate real estate matters and gained valuable institutional insight into portfolio management and site selection strategy. This corporate background provides him with a unique perspective when advising occupiers, investors, and ownership groups.
