Ramsey, N.J. (April 25, 2018) – NAI James E. Hanson announces it has brokered a lease for 40,000 square feet of industrial space to Handy Laundry at 50 Spring Street in Ramsey, N.J. NAI Hanson’s Kenneth Lundberg, SIOR, Gary Sauerborn, and Patrick Lennon represented the landlord, Yankee Partners, LLC, in the NAI James E. Hanson exclusive listing. The building is managed by John Landers and Karen Vincentz.

Handy Laundry is a leading manufacturer and nationwide distributor of laundry bags, hampers and household items. Previously based in Rockland County, N.Y., Handy Laundry had been searching for a new location that presented them with the same high level of accessibility as their current facility but with significantly lower real estate taxes and increased square footage to allow for continued company growth.

50 Spring Street is a 132,389-square-foot, single-story industrial building with 18’ ceiling heights and four tailgates located directly off Route 17 with easy access to both Interstate 287 and Route 202. The building’s location in the upper Bergen County submarket will enable Handy Laundry to capitalize on the regions’ ideal mix of accessibility and affordability and provides the company with space needed for continued growth.

“We have continued to see an increase in the number of companies looking to secure space in the Upper Bergen County market,” said Lundberg. “The attractive real estate taxes and comparatively lower leasing rates compared to neighboring submarkets provides companies with an ideal opportunity to relocate if they are looking for a new home. Fortunately, our long history of working in this market enables our team to properly position our clients’ spaces to attract companies looking to relocate and then negotiate long-term leases at a fair market value.”
