Hanson, a leading New Jersey-based full service commercial real estate firm, announces that senior associate, Randy Horning, has earned his Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) with a concentration in finance and investment from the NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Horning has experience in both business and real estate industries, specializing in healthcare/office and investment properties. His scope of services include brokerage, consulting, debt/equity management and valuation. Since 2007 he has been involved in over 100 lease and sale transactions of commercial real estate and has completed market evaluations on office, industrial, retail and investment properties. Horning is highly skilled in research, data verification, and analysis and also possesses outstanding reporting, presentation, leadership and communication skills.

The 42-credit M.S. in Real Estate program offered by the NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate integrates theory, real-world application, and practice-based immersion in all phases of real estate—from financial modeling, initiating and analyzing to negotiating, financing, and closing the transaction. Courses examine, in detail, the breadth and depth of the various real estate disciplines, including development, finance, investment, valuation, project management, law, market analysis, digital imaging, and economics. Topics range from analyzing and financing to managing and owning.
Horning works as part of team with Darren M. Lizzack, an Associate Vice President of NAI Hanson who also holds an MSRE from the NYU School of Professional Studies Schack Institute of Real Estate. In 2015 Horning and Lizzack leased 47,002 square feet of space resulting in a lease value of $6,914,799, sold $2,695,000 and have $22,700,000 under contract.
Horning is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), New Jersey Realtors Association (NJAR), and NAIOP. In addition to his MSRE designation from NYU, he also holds a BS in marketing from Farleigh Dickinson University.
Horning currently resides in Haworth, N.J. Lizzack resides in Hackensack, N.J.
