Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announces it has negotiated a lease for 10,043 square feet of medical office space at 1030 St. Georges Avenue in Avenel, N.J. NAI James E Hanson’s Team Lizzack-Horning comprised of Darren Lizzack, MRSE, and Randy Horning, MSRE, represented the landlord, Avenel Medical Center, in the transaction with the tenant, GenPsych.
Located on the border of Avenel and Rahway, 1030 St. Georges Avenue is a four-story, 70,000-square-foot office building featuring both office and medical office space and ample on-site parking. In addition to its access to nearly 355,000 residents within five miles, the property also has proximity to major New Jersey roadways including Route 1/9 and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Serving as the exclusive brokerage team for the property since May 2021, Team Lizzack-Horning has helped bring five tenants consisting of over 14,000 square feet to the property. GenPsych, a mental health and substance abuse treatment provider with locations in New Jersey, Maryland and Florida, will occupy the building’s penthouse level as well as space on the third floor to provide the tenant with the flexibility to treat adult patients and minor patients in separate spaces at the same location.
