Clifton, N.J. (January 20, 2022) – NAI James E. Hanson announces it has negotiated a lease for 1,761 square feet of medical space at 1135 Broad Street in Clifton, N.J. NAI James E. Hanson’s Darren Lizzack, MSRE, and Randy Horning, MSRE, represented the landlord, First Equity Development Co.,  in the transaction with Wellness and Surgery.

NAI James E. Hanson has served as the exclusive leasing team for 1135 Broad Street, a 62,535 square-foot three-story medical office building, since 2018. Centrally located in the heart of Passaic County, 1135 Broad Street is easily accessible from several major roadways and includes 600’ of prime frontage on the Garden State Parkway. In addition to its convenient location, the well-maintained building offers amenities such as fully renovated common areas, restrooms, and lobbies, as well as ample on-site parking. The building is home to an exceptional roster of medical tenants, including St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, an RWJ Children’s Specialized Hospital Outpatient Center, and Kessler Rehabilitation Center.

Based in Ardsley, N.Y., Wellness and Surgery, a medical practice specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a wide range of symptoms, was in search of a Class A medical suite within proximity to their existing patients across the N.Y. and N.J. areas. The company’s leadership recognized 1135 Broad Street’s renovated appearance and exceptional location made it a perfect place to continue building upon their business and providing top-tier service to their growing patient base. Leveraging their extensive market knowledge, Lizzack and Horning were able to quickly and efficiently complete the transaction to allow the tenant to quickly begin seeing patients in the new space.

“This deal further underscores our team’s expertise in constructing marketing strategies that take advantage of the high demand for newly-renovated and centrally-located medical suites across the state,” said Lizzack. “The healthcare sector continues to be healthy and stable in the new year, and we are excited to continue to capitalize on the ongoing need for these properties as we help our clients fill vacant space in the year to come.”
