NAI James E. Hanson’s Verducci Earns SIOR Designation

Brings firm’s total to 11 SIORs, the most of any commercial real estate brokerage in N.J.

Teterboro, N.J. (August 18, 2020) – NAI James E. Hanson has announced that Vice President Russell Verducci has earned his Society of Industrial and Office Realtor’s® (SIOR) designation.

Established in 1971, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® is recognized worldwide as the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association. SIOR’s membership spans 686 cities in 36 countries and represents the globe’s top producers across the commercial real estate field. To achieve the SIOR designation, Verducci was required to demonstrate his deep experience in closing deals with a focus on professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity while completing stringent educational requirements. Verducci’s designation brings the total number of SIORs at NAI James E. Hanson to eleven; the most of any commercial real estate brokerage in New Jersey.

Since joining NAI James E. Hanson in 2005, Verducci has become an integral member of the brokerage team and one of the most trusted commercial real estate professionals in New Jersey. Verducci specializes in port-related industrial properties along the Turnpike Corridor with a particular focus on cold storage and logistics. Verducci’s deep knowledge, work ethic, creativity and experience are regularly tapped by a wide range of leading companies to assist with their industrial real estate needs throughout the northern New Jersey commercial real estate market.

Over the past several years alone, Verducci has brokered several newsworthy leases, including two industrial leases of 130,963 square-feet and 45,408 square-feet at 629 Grove St. in Jersey City, N.J., a 119,268 square-foot industrial sublease in Newark, N.J., a total of 82,472 square-feet in lease renewals in Union, N.J., and most recently the lease of 25,190 square-feet of industrial space in the Meadowlands, in Carlstadt, N.J. Since 2007, Verducci has helped close 21 deals each worth over $2 million highlighted by the sale of 211 Johnson Street in Staten Island for $13.3 million in 2016 and a $33 million lease at 60 Lister Avenue in Newark in 2015.

Internally at NAI James E. Hanson, Verducci has been awarded with multiple Outstanding Performance recognitions (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019) recognizing significant transactions, each presenting their own challenges, that showcased Verducci’s adaptability and problem-solving abilities that have made him one of the industry’s most sought-after brokers.

Verducci and Executive Managing Director Michael Walters, SIOR, also received NAI Hanson’s 2015 Transaction of the Year Award for their work on a 352,000-square-foot industrial lease in Newark with HelloFresh, an international food-delivery service. This Newark lease was significant enough to garner attention statewide, as Verducci and his team were also awarded the 2016 Cooperating Award from the NJ Chapter of SIOR for the project.   To date, they have completed seven deals for Hello Fresh, totaling over 560,000 square feet.

Hanson’s Scott K. Perkins, SIOR, and Thomas A. Vetter, SIOR, also serve as President and Vice President of the New Jersey Chapter of SIOR.
