Easton, Pa. – NAI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announces the sale of 11.31 acres of land at 3506 Kesslersville Road in Easton, Pennsylvania. NAI James E. Hanson’s Sigmund Schorr represented both the buyer, Habitat for Humanity of Lehigh Valley, and the seller in the transaction.
Less than five miles from downtown Easton, 3506 Kesslersville Road consists of over 11-acres of land previously approved for 65 townhouse-style homes. Partnering with Northampton County and additional local area nonprofits, Habitat for Humanity of Lehigh Valley plans to use the land to create stable, affordable housing that aligns with their mission of helping families in need.
The sellers were interested in selling the land to a nonprofit who could develop it for residential use to positively impact the local community. NAI James E. Hanson’s experience in land sales in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for residential and commercial development made them an ideal team to handle the important transaction.
“Land approved for residential redevelopment is a hot commodity whether in New Jersey or Pennsylvania,” said Schorr. “In this case, a clear vision for the land had been defined by the seller, which ultimately made for a great match with Habitat for Humanity of Lehigh Valley. I’m proud to have provided the services and counsel needed to complete this transaction and look forward to the meaningful impact it will have on Northampton County.”
