NAI James E. Hanson Team Continues Expansion with New Property Managers

Teterboro, N.J (March 16, 2022) – NAI James E. Hanson, the largest New Jersey-based full-service independent commercial real estate firm, announces that Hovannes Bakalian and Andrew J. Martinez have joined its Teterboro, N.J. office as property managers.

Prior to joining NAI James E. Hanson, Bakalian served as a Senior Portfolio Manager for Progressive Building Management, where he focused on residential and office properties across 32 buildings in Central New Jersey. Previously, Bakalian was an Industrial Property Manager for Greek Development where he inspected properties, managed tenant move-in/move-out process, reviewed lease comments, and assisted the accounting department with account reconciliations and collections. Bakalian is a licensed Realtor and has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Seton Hall University. He is fluent in Armenian and English.

Martinez previously served as an Assistant Property Manager for SL Green Realty Corp focused on reviewing accruals, reporting variances to ownership, creating overtime and payroll reports for two buildings, conducting tenant walkthroughs and reviewing and renewing service contracts. Martinez also held the role of Portfolio Administrator for SL Green Realty Corp where he oversaw team budgets for seven office buildings and approved invoices and purchase orders. Martinez is from Harrington Park, NJ and graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in business organization, and society.
